"Extreme" Rules?

So it was “Extreme” Rules last night. Unfortunately it lacked in Extreme from start to finish.
The new PG rating that WWE is pushing is really making a right mess of things.
The night was all in all pretty bland but did push good storylines and wrestling ability, the issue is this event was called Extreme Rules not Wrestling Rules.
The event dipped and rose through out the night, having some matches which seemed to just bore the crowd and us watching in the blog chat.
You know you must be doing something wrong when the highlights of the night was, the KFC double down (which looks damn tasty), a divas match being more entertaining and more Extreme than the Extreme rules match and the street fight put together and Batista starting his new storyline with the 7 year old girl in the front row who apparently hates him, but not to worry he took the time let her know he hated her to.

Overall I give the event 7/10 because although it was meant to be Extreme it was still a pretty solid wrestling show.
WWE need to work on the PPV’s that are atempting to be hardcore in anyway as they do not fulfil the Hardcore nature due to there PG rating.
They say anything goes, but do not hit someone in the head with a steel chair, they say anything can happen, but your not aloud to bleed, if there any sign of blood the ref is in there with his Latex gloves to get rid of it. Now come on since when was wrestling like that? What happened to the days where they would be in a Hell In A Cell with blood running down there face, ladders, tables, bins, chairs, and hammers, now that was the good old days.

WWE sort it out or TNA will run right on over your.
