Cole Goes To Far.

Last night on Raw saw Michael Cole took a big step over a metaphorical line that shouldn’t have been crossed.

During last nights show, Cole announced that he was going to retire from in ring competition, (as if any of us really care). Lawler soon cut in to challenge Cole to yet another match, putting his own Hall of Fame ring on the line and offering to induct Cole into the Hall of Fame personally if Cole won. Cole turned down the offer and went back to his “Cole Mine”. Now in the safety of his box he decides to take that step he shouldn’t have taken. He spoke about the recently passed mothers’ day and what he did with his own mother before asking Lawler what he did with his, to then point out that Lawler’s mother died back in February. The moment that this was mentioned Twitter went nuts with disapproval, I spoke out about how it was a Dark turn, and Rob McNichol from The Sun soon after tweeted, “I think this might be too far. Is anyone comfortable with this?”
Rob also noticed that they then placed an anti bulling ad almost straight after, contradiction much?

After that moment Lawler went for Cole but was stopped by Swagger. Lawler went back stage as Swagger had a match for the US Championship.
During the match Lawler came back to the ring and cost Swagger the match before attacking him and throwing him over the ringside barricades. He then went after Cole and grabbed him by the tie via one of the holes on the clear box. He then proceeded to smack Cole’s face into the wall over and over again in humorous fashion, and to the approval of the crowd.

Once the Refs held Lawler back Swagger came and helped Cole out of the box and then accepted Lawler’s challenge on behalf of Cole.

Part of me can see why this line was crossed, it is a great way of getting the hate fuming and the support of Lawler sent sky high. But in a PG show, that is currently advertising its support for anti bulling, this is a big step to far, and WWE may have to review there choices better.

Christian and Orton

Those peeps that are unhappy about Christian’s recent loss of the World Title apparently shouldn’t worry too much. The recent promo’s and pushes on the loss show that WWE may be pushing this storyline along further, we may be in store for a Christian title hunt and we hopefully will see Christian with the belt back around his waist.

Questions for you.

Do you feel that Cole stepped over the line and went too far?

If you’re a Peep is your mind a little at ease knowing that he may be pushed back towards the World Title, or are you still unhappy with his loss?

That’s all for now so this is Matty.D signing off.
