This weeks NXT saw a double elimination and some great matches.
The show started with the rookies having there say about a personally selected subject. All the rookies did well and all looked to be in good moods, but one of the moods was about to change as the first elimination of the night was announced next.
The first elimination was “Showtime” Percy Watson. He gave good farewell speech and then went on his way.
We then had 3 great matches, Zack Ryder took on Michael McGillicutty, and Ryder won. Husky Harris and Kaval butted heads again in the best match out of the night, Kaval finally was able to get his solo win and take one over the big man.
And lastly Kofi Kingston took on Alex Riley, with Kofi taking the win.
We then had the last elimination of the night. Husky Harris was the man to take the last spot and be waving us goodbye. Cody Rhodes was not happy about his rookie’s elimination and was very vocal about it. He shouted at the crowd and the pros before coming down to the rookies insulting them all. When Cody got to Kaval he started to fight him and Husky assisted, MVP and Kofi came flying down to help, once MVP and Kofi had beaten Cody and Husky off Kaval, Kaval climbed the top rope and jumped sky high and landed feet first on Husky. He then stood with his lovely diva Pros and MVP and Kofi stared down Husky and Cody forcing them to walk away.
So that leaves three rookies for the final in 2 weeks time. Although there can be only one winner I see, Kaval, Husky, Percy, Alex, and McGillicutty all getting permanent contracts in the near future.
So who will win? Kaval, Riley or McGillicutty. When the voting, is open get in to make sure your favourite rookie becomes your next Break Out Star.
That’s all for now Matty.D Signing off.
