Triple H out, John Laurinitis in!

Last night’s stellar Raw had some more on screen big changes so let’s have a quick look through what happened.

It started off with Triple H, suited and booted coming to the ring alone. No announcers or time keeper were present when he got down to the packed arena.

After talking about last week’s walk out and how the Superstars are out in the parking lot holding a “Rally of solidarity” he said even at the threat of not having any superstars working for him he will not quit.

After talking about the possibility of Triple H wrestling a broom stick just so they have a show John Cena comes to the ring.

John Cena talks about how the guys in the parking lot really want him to join them yet Trips hasn’t asked anything of him.

He says how a lot of the other Superstars feel but then points out that for some of them superstars Triple H is there first boss. He then gives us a rundown of bosses he has had while working in the WWE ending it on saying that Triple H is his boss and he is staying.

Next to join them is Sheamus who even with Triple H and Sheamus’s history also agreed to stay.

CM Punk then came to the ring, carrying a “pipe bomb”. CM Punk actually decided to take the blame for this as he did start this off back at Money in the Bank by walking out with the WWE Championship. But even though he walked out he didn’t break any rules, he didn’t break his contract, his contract expired. Regardless of all that he deals with things personally and also agrees to stay.

Triple H then makes a match using what little he has. Sheamus vs. John Cena, Triple H as ref and CM Punk assigned to the empty announcers table to say whatever he feels like as well as being a Time Keeper.

The match kicks off and we have a good kick start to this odd Raw show, after so long the match is interrupted by the man that most of you guys had already foreseen returning.

Vince McMahon comes to the ring, he shows his faith in Triple H and that he still believes in him. Unfortunately though due to the walk out the board of directors are in fear of WWE’s fanatical wellbeing and they are not going to take a chance, so they have removed Triple H as COO.

An interim GM will be assigned that apparently neither Vince nor Triple H likes but John Laurinitis is assigned the job.

The rest of the show is a series of matches to help propel the rebel faction higher, starting with Christian vs. John Morrison in there Street Clothes, Christian was not alone though as he had Cody Rhodes, Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger at ring side, after Christians win the team Beat on Morrison.

Randy Orton then took on Mark Henry but the match was interrupted by Cody Rhodes who attacked Randy. Mark being disqualified slams Randy twice in anger; Cody takes advantage of the downed Randy and sticks a bag over his head.

After a Divas tag match that saw Kelly Kelly and Eve win John Laurinitis came to the ring and shockingly fired J.R in front of the very unhappy Oklahoma crowd.

Rising star Mason Ryan with some wicked Electric Guitar music comes next tagging with AirBoom who also has their own Rock styled entrance music. They took on Dolph Ziggler, Jack Swagger and David Otunga. Vicki Guerrero was at ring side; Michael Cole also named the group, “The Agents of Change.”

This was my favourite match of the night and it does show the improvement in the Tag division although we still haven’t got enough teams outside of these groups.

AirBoom and Mason win brilliantly to the dismay of Vicki. At the end of the match Evan Bourn did look to be injured, weather Keyfab or real and the seriousness of it is unknown.

After a trailer for John Cena’s new movie, which to be honest looks terrible, we move into Alberto Del Rio vs. CM Punk as the main event of the show.

This match was also cut short this time by John Laurinitis. He changes the match to Alberto Del Rio teaming with CM Punk to take on the rehired pair of R-Truth and the Miz.

Del Rio ended up leaving the match, leaving CM Punk to take Truth and Miz on solo. He put up a good fight but in the end Truth and Miz got disqualified due to both attack Punk and being counted out. Not to worry as former COO Triple H, no longer suited and booted but in Jeans and T-Shirt, comes down to the ring to help Punk and fight off Truth and Miz.

By the looks of things Triple H may not be COO but he is going to stick around as a Superstar.

Triple H and Punk stand tall as Miz and Truth high tail it out of the arena.

Back stage John Laurinitis says how he will talk to the board and see if we can get Punk and Triple H to team to take on Truth and Miz at Vengeance.

Cut back to the ring to Triple H and Punk shaking hands, looks like we are in for a great tag match at Vengeance.

This should run through Vengeance and continue on towards Survivor Series where the Rock should be making his return and be thrown into the mix.

The road is looking like an interesting one indeed but what do you guys think?

I have heard some mixed opinions on the Rocks return being before Wrestlemania so what do you think? Should the Rock just wait till Mania or are you ok with him performing at Survivor Serise?
