Vengeance returns this Sunday!

Vengeance is a classic WWE PPV and it makes its return this Sunday. The last time we had a Vengeance PPV was 2007 and it was the start of the Night of Champions PPV name. After 2007 they dropped the Vengeance name from the title and for 2008, 9, 10 and this year we had Night of Champions as its own PPV.

So this Sunday Vengeance makes its return after being missing for 3 years, and there are Superstars with Vengeance in mind.

WWE Tag Team Championship

AirBoom vs. Dolph Ziggler & Jack Swagger

Jack and Dolph were once fighting over the US Championship but they have been able to put their differences aside and under the command of Vicki Guerrero have got themselves a Tag title shot at Vengeance.

I think this will link in to the predicted Survivor Series matches and the current Storylines in regards to John Laurinaitis and Triple H’s fight for power.

WWE Divas Championship

Beth Phoenix vs. Eve

Kelly Kelly and Beth have been fighting over the Divas Championship over the past month with Natalya and Eve stood at ring side. Now Beth has the Championship and has successfully defended it against Kelly it’s time for Eve to have a shot.

I see Beth walking away with the belt but we still should have a short but better than usual Divas match as Eve is one of the better in ring performers of the current Divas.

Randy Orton vs. Cody Rhodes

It’s not for the Intercontinental Championship as that would be a down step for Randy but due to the recent attacks from Cody, Randy is seeking Vengeance. This isn’t an important match but it should be a good one. I think these two will also tie in to the Survivor Series event.

World Heavyweight Championship

Mark Henry vs. Big Show

Big Show made his return after being off on injury by the hands of Mark Henry. After a quite silly promo from Big Show a couple weeks ago, he demanded a World Heavyweight Title shot which Mark Henry refused. An enraged Big Show attempted to break Henry’s leg after Chock Slamming him through the announcers table but he was stopped at the last minute by Teddy Long; Teddy said that Show could have the Title shot at Vengeance as long as he didn’t break Marks leg.

So Big Show gets his Vengeance this Sunday but I predict that Mark will pull through.

WWE Championship

Last Man Standing Match

Alberto Del Rio vs. John Cena

John Cena gets yet another WWE Title shot but you can’t deny his in ring ability.  After last night’s Raw the match was turned into a Last Man Standing match. John Cena teamed with Jim Ross and took on Alberto Del Rio and Michael Cole the winning Team getting to choose the stipulation for Vengeance. Cena and JR picked up the win after Del Rio left the match and Michael Cole to fend for himself. After much begging for mercy Cole was given an Attitude Adjustment from Cena and an Ankle lock from JR causing the tap out and giving Cena and JR the win. Cena then beat on Del Rio and started to count to 10 while Del Rio was down signalling a Last Man Standing match for this Sunday.

Triple H & CM Punk vs. R-Truth & The Miz

Once enemies now allies against a common foe. Even with their recent rivalry Triple H and CM Punk are able to put their differences aside and work together in what should be an epic tag match. It’s one of them dream matches where a Superstar of today teams with Superstar of the Past, I am hoping for an amazing match that will link in to the story well ready for Survivor Series. After Sunday will we see CM Punk and Triple H alongside The Rock and John Cena to make one of the most ultimate Survivor Series teams ever foreseen?

The gap between Vengeance and Survivor Series should be an interesting one.

Undertaker?

Now a while back it was rumoured that The Undertaker was to return this Sunday at Vengeance, well now the time has come so will it turn out to be true? Will Undertaker come back this Sunday?

If he does come back who will he be coming to mess with? So many questions that we want to see answered, that is if he returns. Only time will tell.
