Happy New Year everyone, I hope you have all had a good
Christmas and New Years and lets all get ready for another year of WWE
Programing.
And how did WWE kick off the New Year? They brought back
one of the best pro wrestlers out there, Chris Jericho!
Over the past month or so we have been getting cryptic
messages about the return of a familiar force and it will end the world as we
know it.
Speculation on who or what it is that is coming circled
around the internet and the top prediction was Jericho. Other names mentioned were
Batista, Shane McMahon, Undertaker or even the Heel turn of John Cena.
So last night we finally found out it was Jericho to make
his return in great fashion with a great ovation. But that being said after
Jericho had got to the ring he didn’t really do anything.
He spent the next 10 minutes running around the ring
trying to create cheers as well as slapping hands with the fans.
Through all that he did have a mic in hand yet it never
got used, he ended up dropping it to continue to get cheers and then leave.
This left us all wondering, why all the build-up just to
have that be the return? Quite a disappointment and has left us with loads of
questions to still be answered in relation to the cryptic messages and what it
all means, and the biggest question still is who is the girl in the videos representing?
Did I enjoy his return? Not so much, I wanted more to
happen and questions to be answered not to mention I would of loved to of seen
him be a Heel not a Face.
Not a great start for WWE in my opinion so I hope they
give us answers soon and pick up fast.
2011 was a great year for WWE so fingers crossed 2012 is
just as good or maybe even better.

I think, if you look at what the girl is doing in the videos, that is what he is going to do. Did you see how she was all smiley and happy, and then her face got serious? "She holds the secret..."
ReplyDeleteJericho's return was supposed to be disappointing. You can tell from the post-show interview with Jericho that the WWE put up on their website.
ReplyDeleteI could see they wanted him to get boos for wasting time. I didn't enjoy it that much because I knew it was Jericho the entire time. Everyone knew it was Jericho yet they still had him not do anything interesting.
That RAW just wasn't that great.
I think his return has been good so far, I can't stop watching every week to see what the hell is going on with Y2J
