NOC This Sunday!

Fridays SmackDown! Was the last show before this Sundays PPV, and it was a good show again, another relief after another awful NXT. Even WWE must know that it is awful as they had Michael Cole leave the show at the end of it, and MVP recently spoke out about NXT being so awful.

Anyway let’s get onto SmackDown!
It was another good show with some great matches. We started off with Christians Peep Show, his guest being Alberto Del Rio. Christian challenged Del Rio to a match at NOC but Del Rio declined, even after receiving a slap round the face his answer was still no.

We then head into our first match of the night and it was a good one. The WWE tag champs The Hart Dynasty came across from Raw to take on the team of Drew McIntyre and Cody Rhodes.
The match was good and was tight, it came down to witch team worked best together and this time around it was Drew and Cody that worked well and won the match.
The tag champs will be defending at NOC but we do not know who it will be against yet, but after that match it’s looking like Drew and Cody will be taking that spot.

Kofi Kingston then went up against Jack Swagger in the best match of the night. It was the longest match of the show, Kofi used his high flying and Jack used his ground game to make a very good contest. It was another tight match but Kofi picked up the win.
At NOC Kofi will be taking on Dolph Ziggler once again for the IC Title.

Next was a small segment to continue the quest for Hornswoggle to speak. Funny but unneeded.

We then had the Co-Women’s Champs go up against Kelly Kelly and Rosa Mendes.
Better than the last Divas match I spoke about but not that great either, LayCool took the win.
Later backstage LayCool decided who will go on to face Melina by pulling a name out of a hat. Michelle’s name was pulled out so it seems that she will be going to face Melina. After Michelle had left Kaval and Layla realise that all the paper in the hat said Michelle. Looks like Layla may be leaving McCool high and dry.

CM Punk then went up against Christian, and Del Rio sat at ringside. The match was another good performance. Nearing the end Del Rio got up and spoke to Christian via microphone causing a distraction allowing Punk to nail the GTS and winning the match. Del Rio then took a chair and sat over Christian and said that his answer is still no.
Big Show soon came to the ring beating on Punk as Del Rio made his escape.

Last thing of the night was Kane’s response to Taker.
Kane came to the ring and spoke to the crowd and accepted Takers offer to make the match at NOC No Holds Bard.
If this was about 1 or 2 years ago I would be pumped for this match, two of the biggest names taking it to the limit with all they have got, around the arena, weapons involved making it one hell of a match, but in today’s PG rated WWE it will be nothing special, nothing that we haven’t seen before.
After Kane accepted Taker made his way to the ring but before he got there lights went out, when they raised again Kane was behind Taker. Kane and Taker fought but it was Kane who stood tall. After using the moves that Taker would use to finish his opponent Kane bowed the Undertaker Bow and flames shot from the ring posts and ending the show.

This show really got me pumped up for Sunday and I am looking forward to most of the matches that will be shown.

Now let’s have a look at that final match card:

Divas and Women’s Championship Unification Lumberjill match
Melina vs. LayCool (most likely to be Michelle)

WWE Tag Team Championship Match
The Hart Dynasty vs. TBD

Big Show vs. CM Punk

Intercontinental Championship
Dolph Ziggler vs. Kofi Kingston

US Championship
Miz vs. Daniel Bryan

World Heavyweight Championship No Holds Bard
Kane vs. Undertaker

WWE Championship Six Pack Elimination Match
Sheamus vs. Chris Jericho vs. John Cena vs. Edge vs. Randy Orton vs. Wade Barrett

Out that lot I am look forward to the US Championship match, the Six Pack match and the Tag team match should be quite interesting.
NOC will be on SkySports1 and SkySports1HD this Sunday/Monday at 1am.

In other news Matt Hardy has been having a lot of issues across the internet regarding many different things and it looks like he may be leaving WWE and possibly following in the footsteps of his brother Jeff. Instead of me trying to explain it all on here head over to the Sun website and have a read of there article.

Matty.D signing off.
