I have decided that I may stop writing these blogs. After 5 and a bit months and 76 blogs I have decided that I am just wasting my time. I am not aware if anyone is reading these, other than a couple of friends, I also did it in hope that someone would read it, like it, and decided to pass it on.
So let’s just say thanks to you have read but I am now calling it quits. If you do read and you want me to continue let me know and I may keep going but for now this is it.
I still love WWE and would love to be more involved in wrestling, heck I would love a job in it but its one of them dreams that could never come true.
Anyway this is for the final time, Matty.D signing off.

Night of the Viper!
Last night saw a great Night of Champions, 4 championships in total changed hands and a future legend left our screens once again.
The main event of the night was the six pack match. It was the number one match of the night and looked to be great and we weren’t disappointed.
The road to this match has been an interesting one and it came to a great end on this night.
The six men came to the ring and the announcer introduced them all one by one to add to the build up.
The match then kicked off and within 90 seconds the first elimination shocked us all. Jericho received an RKO and was pinned to be the first eliminated. A shocked audience looked on and the match came to a halt as Jericho made a slow exit. The crowd chanted Y2J in respect as Jericho made his final exit as his contract has now ended, and he moves on to focus on his music and TV career (or even TNA).
Once the moment had past Wade Barrett found himself on the opposite side of a beating once again as he is surrounded by the remaining competitors in this match. The match went on for a further 15 minuets before our next elimination. Edge was next fall after team work with Sheamus he fell to the hand of Cena.
The Nexus soon made themselves known distracting Cena and allowing Wade to eliminate him.
Wade looked to target Randy next but Cena attacked the Nexus with a chair and Randy took down the Brit leaving us with 2.
Orton and Sheamus were the last two left and it looked like Orton was done for as he received a kick to the head, but to a great ovation Orton was able to kick out of the pin, this lead to an RKO allowing Randy to pick up the win and to pick up the WWE Championship.
Now that may have been the best match of the night but it wasn’t the only one that was great.
Another one of my favourite matches of the night was the US Championship match between Miz and Bryan. It was a great bout that saw for the most Bryan on losing end of the match, but Bryan was able to fight the odds and Miz fell to Bryans LeBell lock. Bryan walks away holding the US Title.
Bryan has gone from an Indi star, to NXT, to being fired from WWE, to returning and now US Champion. It’s amazing how far he has come in such a short time.
The other match that impressed was Taker vs. Kane, even in the age of PG the two monsters were still able to put on a pretty stellar match. The two fought all over the arena as well as the ring. Kane was the superior competitor as Taker was still playing on a weakened state; Kane left the match still holding the World Title. We will most probably see this battle spill into Hell in a Cell in just two weeks time.
The Intercontinental championship stayed in the hands of Dolph Ziggler as he won in the opening contest.
The Divas and Women’s championships made a home with LayCool as Michelle won with help of Layla. The match wasn’t anything special.
For the Tag team contest WWE threw together a Tag Team Turmoil, basically a tag team gauntlet match. The Hart Dynasty first went against the Uso’s, The Harts were eliminated first guaranteeing new champions, next was Santino and Kozlov, the Uso’s made short work of them. Next was thrown together team of Mark Henry and Evan Bourn, they eliminated the Uso’s. Lastly was Drew and Cody and it was obvious that they was going to win which they did taking the Tag Titles to SmackDown!
Big Show did go against Punk in a short match that was very unimpressive. The storyline between these two has died and I think both Show and Punk need to move on to other stories.
Overall the PPV was damn good and I did enjoy it all the way through I give NOC 4 out 5 stars. The Sun also enjoyed the show giving it 8.5 out of 10.
Chris Jericho isn’t the only one to of left WWE screens as Matt Hardy seems to of also quit. He may be heading over to TNA with his brother Jeff to reunite the Hardy Boys tag team, those two together on TNA screens is actually very promising prospect and if it happens I may have to start watching some TNA.
I look forward to Raw tonight to find out what is next for Orton and Bryan as new champions. An interesting match I think will be Daniel Bryan in his first Hell in a Cell in 2 weeks time; unfortunately WWE can’t put on a good Hell in a Cell match in today’s era.
That’s all till tomorrow Matty.D signing off.

NOC This Sunday!
Fridays SmackDown! Was the last show before this Sundays PPV, and it was a good show again, another relief after another awful NXT. Even WWE must know that it is awful as they had Michael Cole leave the show at the end of it, and MVP recently spoke out about NXT being so awful.
Anyway let’s get onto SmackDown!
It was another good show with some great matches. We started off with Christians Peep Show, his guest being Alberto Del Rio. Christian challenged Del Rio to a match at NOC but Del Rio declined, even after receiving a slap round the face his answer was still no.
We then head into our first match of the night and it was a good one. The WWE tag champs The Hart Dynasty came across from Raw to take on the team of Drew McIntyre and Cody Rhodes.
The match was good and was tight, it came down to witch team worked best together and this time around it was Drew and Cody that worked well and won the match.
The tag champs will be defending at NOC but we do not know who it will be against yet, but after that match it’s looking like Drew and Cody will be taking that spot.
Kofi Kingston then went up against Jack Swagger in the best match of the night. It was the longest match of the show, Kofi used his high flying and Jack used his ground game to make a very good contest. It was another tight match but Kofi picked up the win.
At NOC Kofi will be taking on Dolph Ziggler once again for the IC Title.
Next was a small segment to continue the quest for Hornswoggle to speak. Funny but unneeded.
We then had the Co-Women’s Champs go up against Kelly Kelly and Rosa Mendes.
Better than the last Divas match I spoke about but not that great either, LayCool took the win.
Later backstage LayCool decided who will go on to face Melina by pulling a name out of a hat. Michelle’s name was pulled out so it seems that she will be going to face Melina. After Michelle had left Kaval and Layla realise that all the paper in the hat said Michelle. Looks like Layla may be leaving McCool high and dry.
CM Punk then went up against Christian, and Del Rio sat at ringside. The match was another good performance. Nearing the end Del Rio got up and spoke to Christian via microphone causing a distraction allowing Punk to nail the GTS and winning the match. Del Rio then took a chair and sat over Christian and said that his answer is still no.
Big Show soon came to the ring beating on Punk as Del Rio made his escape.
Last thing of the night was Kane’s response to Taker.
Kane came to the ring and spoke to the crowd and accepted Takers offer to make the match at NOC No Holds Bard.
If this was about 1 or 2 years ago I would be pumped for this match, two of the biggest names taking it to the limit with all they have got, around the arena, weapons involved making it one hell of a match, but in today’s PG rated WWE it will be nothing special, nothing that we haven’t seen before.
After Kane accepted Taker made his way to the ring but before he got there lights went out, when they raised again Kane was behind Taker. Kane and Taker fought but it was Kane who stood tall. After using the moves that Taker would use to finish his opponent Kane bowed the Undertaker Bow and flames shot from the ring posts and ending the show.
This show really got me pumped up for Sunday and I am looking forward to most of the matches that will be shown.
Now let’s have a look at that final match card:
Divas and Women’s Championship Unification Lumberjill match
Melina vs. LayCool (most likely to be Michelle)
WWE Tag Team Championship Match
The Hart Dynasty vs. TBD
Big Show vs. CM Punk
Intercontinental Championship
Dolph Ziggler vs. Kofi Kingston
US Championship
Miz vs. Daniel Bryan
World Heavyweight Championship No Holds Bard
Kane vs. Undertaker
WWE Championship Six Pack Elimination Match
Sheamus vs. Chris Jericho vs. John Cena vs. Edge vs. Randy Orton vs. Wade Barrett
Out that lot I am look forward to the US Championship match, the Six Pack match and the Tag team match should be quite interesting.
NOC will be on SkySports1 and SkySports1HD this Sunday/Monday at 1am.
In other news Matt Hardy has been having a lot of issues across the internet regarding many different things and it looks like he may be leaving WWE and possibly following in the footsteps of his brother Jeff. Instead of me trying to explain it all on here head over to the Sun website and have a read of there article.

No More NXT Blogs
This is my last NXT blog. Due to the s*tnes of this new season of NXT I do not see no more reason to write about it. When NXT improves or in a new season I will gladly write about it. But I refuse to write about something that is such a fail. So from now on I will only be writing about SmackDown!, Raw, and PPVs.
Sorry NXT Divas you may be hot, but is that show you’re on any good?
Like hell it is!

Raw Smashes Tables!
Well where do I start? A lot happened on Raw in a very good show, one of the best shows I’ve seen in weeks, so let’s just go from beginning to end.
It saw the return of Raw roulette, unfortunately it was pretty obvious that the wheel was rigged to bring up particular matches for each spin, and for some we didn’t see the wheels result, we was just told what it apparently said.
Even with this the show was still good, it gave the WWE a chance to step out of the box, and put on more exciting matches. I hope they take the hint from the crowd’s reactions and the fans at home, on what sort of shows they should be putting on.
The first spin of the wheel was to decide what match John Cena and Randy Orton would have in the main event later in the night.
The wheel stopped on Tables match, creating a contest that is out of Raw’s recent style.
We then moved to the ring to see our guest host of the night, Cincinnati Bengals Wide Receiver, Chad Ochocinco. He came to the ring to promote his team, the NFL, and his own reality TV show. He was interrupted by the Miz who compared himself to Ochocinco, he then moved to insulting him.
The wheel was then span to decide Miz’s match. The wheel spin landed on Submission match. The Raw GM then said that Chad can pick Miz’s opponent, we obviously knew that he would pick Daniel Bryan, which he did.
After an Ad break we jumped straight into the action as Bryan and Miz fought, interestingly as well Miz had his “Apprentice” Alex Riley at ring side. (Looks like the former NXT Rookie will still be making his way into the WWE mainstream.)
During the match after Miz was able to break free of Bryans LeBell Lock via a rope break, Miz acted as if he was in pain, he took a microphone and claimed that he may have a hernia and that he can no longer compete to make sure he is able to compete at NOC. As the ring announcer was about to announce that Miz has forfeited, Miz halted him. He said that he wasn’t forfeiting, he then asked for Riley to take his place.
Riley jumped in the ring and continued the match, he didn’t last long though as Bryan locked in the LeBell Lock once again causing Riley to tap. Miz took his chance to try and beat on Bryan but was soon locked in to the LeBell Lock also and was tapping lick crazy. Bryan kept hold of his lock smiling out into the crowd until the refs came down and forced him off. A great segment and a great bit of story telling.
Before an ad break Edge was shown spinning the wheel to decide his match but we never saw what it landed on as the ads commenced before it stopped.
When we returned Edge was in the ring and his opponent Evan Bourn came to the ring, it was then announced that there match will be a body slam contest.
The match was short but good; there was a moment where Evan struck Edge cleanly in the side of the head with well placed kick. Edge picked up the win, even with his win though he was still not done as he speared Evan.
The Raw GM was not pleased with that spear and decided to make Edge compete in a second body slam contest with the Worlds Strongest Man Mark Henry, (who if I am honest looks like he may have put on a few pounds). The match didn’t last long and Mark took the easy win.
R-Truth with Eve and Ted DiBiase with Maryse went head to head in a song and dance contest apparently chosen by the Roulette wheel. This was a chance for R-Truth to debut his new rock/rap track called “Krunk”.
Ted then did his own rendition of “My Way”. Truth and Eve were declared the winners but all broke into a fight.
The wheel then chose the next match between Sheamus and Morrison to be a falls count anywhere match.
Before the match we saw Morrison training backstage, he showed his skills in Parkour also known as Free Running making it obvious that he may use it in his match.
The match was great and Morrison did use some of his Parkour abilities. The match led all the way up to the titantron which Morrison ended up climbing and jumping off of. Morrison was fighting for a spot in the Six Pack match replacing Jericho. After that jump though Jericho appeared with a steel chair and used it on Morrison allowing Sheamus to pick up the win.
After the Ad break we returned to Jericho sitting in the ring, he said he wasn’t going to move until he got what he wants which is to be put back in the match at NOC. He also said that if he didn’t get what he wanted he would quit and also track down the GM. The GM finally mailed in to try and throw Jericho off sent by acting like Vince McMahon. Jericho didn’t fall for it. The GM then mailed in again and Cole was only able to read the first line which was saying that he will put Jericho back in the match before Jericho interrupted.
He then mailed again to say “never interrupt me again”, he then finished off. He said that Jericho is back in if he can beat the Hart Dynasty in a Handicap match, in the steel cage that is hanging above the ring, and that match was to happen next. Jericho of cores protested and complained mainly because he was wearing a suit and he also badgered Cole for the identity of the GM. I am guessing soon we will have the GM reviled.
Another Ad break and we return to Jericho in the cage getting beaten on by the Harts. They did there double team move and then started to scale the cage. Jericho was able to chase after Tyson stopping his escape while on the other side Smith left the cage. This of cores means that the match is only half won, as both Tyson and Smith have to escape, or one has to make Jericho submit or pin him to win, so this meant that the match had to continue.
Tyson and Jericho put on a great one on one contest; it may have been (in my eyes) the best match Tyson has had on WWE TV. Now the result of this match was obvious but the rout to that result was a great one. The ending move was Jericho Jumping from the Turnbuckle holding Tyson Kid and going into the Walls to force the tap. When this move happened I cringe as it was almost a Pile Driver.
So as I motioned last week Jericho has wormed his way back into the Six Pack which was also announced to now be an Elimination style match.
Earlier in the night Regal spun the wheel to decide his match against Goldust. The match was reviled to be a trading places match where the two superstars swap outfits. The match was short but was slightly humorous. Goldust won by using the brass knuckles like Regal has used in the past.
We now headed into the final contest, Randy Orton vs. John Cena in one of my personal favourite styled matches, the Table match.
The match was great and the two fought hard for a while before the Nexus finely emerged (minus Skip Sheffield who is still out on injury). Once to the ring the Nexus took control but was unable to get either Cena or Orton threw a table, in fact the first to land on a table was Heath Slater who flew from the ring onto a table on the outside and landed well making it look great, Tarver and Otunga had already been sorted with an AA and a RKO. Next up to go threw a table was Justin Gabriel, he climbed the top rope and was getting ready to 450 splash Cena threw a table who had just received Wade Barrett’s Wasteland, Gabriel was then pushed off by Orton sending him into another table that was sitting on the outside.
Orton was then able to wiggle out of Wades finisher and pushing from the apron was able to send him threw a table as well leaving Orton to stand tall. Orton then moved to continue the match but was soon attacked by Edge and Jericho. Orton was able to get the upper hand and redirected a Spear meant for him and sent into Jericho and into table that was perched in the corner.
Sheamus then came to the ring and booted Cena from the apron he then went outside but ended up receiving an AA to the mats. It was now back to just Orton and Cena, the two tussled until Cena had Orton on his shoulders and was going to send him threw a table but as Cena threw him over Orton was able to grab Cena turning it into an RKO instead and winning the match as it caused Cena to go threw the table.
This left Orton as the last man standing once again, the Viper is on a rampage and is there anyway to stop him?
After the match I described Orton as a tough warrior, the man at the front of the army ready to go, and when the dust is cleared its Orton who is left standing.
Well overall I thought this was a great show, not a bad match for the whole night, I can’t even say that the Regal, Goldust match was bad, it was just silly.
This show has got me pumped for NOC this Sunday, and I am looking forward to the Six Pack Elimination match.
Now that’s two good shows in a row, can they go three for three? Or will NXT be another fail? To find out give it a watch this week or just read my blog this Friday.
Till then this is Matty.D signing off.

Kaval Debuts!
After that awful NXT show earlier in the week I needed something to put some faith back in the company I have stood by for years even in its lows and through its highs.
Well I am happy to say that SmackDown! Done the job.
This weeks SmackDown! Didn’t see a bad match or promo as each one fit there stories, or worked on there characters and all of it kept us entertained.
We started off with a good promo form the Undertaker and CM Punk as the two were booked to go head to head later in the night.
Taker spoke about his match at NOC with Kane to help promote the match and the PPV. He also moved to suggest that the match be a No Holds Bard match. After that announcement CM Punk came out to talk about the Undertakers current downward spiral, Taker just described Punk as his next victim.
In-between that opening Promo and the main event between Punk and Taker we had a series of great matches.
We had Jack Swagger vs. MVP in a standard match, much better than the match they had couple weeks back.
Jack Swagger took the match by making MVP Tap to the Ankle Lock.
Alberto Del Rio took on Matt Hardy in a very good contest. Del Rio is starting to grow on me, I am not a big fan of his Character but his in ring abilities are great and his finishing manoeuvre is impressive.
Del Rio won the match with his Arm Bar. After the win though he continued to try and punish Hardy, Christian soon came to his aid and was able to make Del Rio flee the ring.
Earlier in the show we had a great backstage promo from LayCool and Kaval, LayCool argued about who would be facing Melina at NOC and Kaval attempted to be the voice of reason. The promo was funny and well performed.
After the Del Rio match Kaval had his debuting match against Drew McIntyre. The match was my favourite of the show. Kaval shined through out the match showing why he won NXT, both Drew and Kaval performed well. Kaval looked to be the one to win this until Drew turned the tables on Kaval turning a huracanrana into a Power Bomb on the outside of the ring, Kaval hit the mats hard and banged his head on the barrier. Drew was then able to get Kaval to the ring and nail his DDT to end the match.
It was unfortunate to see Kaval lose on his first match official match but at least he put on a great performance. Once he starts getting some wins under his belt, building up a good storyline and developing his character we should see him cash in his Title shot at a PPV.
Kofi Kingston tagged up with Chris Masters to take on Dolph Ziggler and Chavo. Before the Superstars came to the ring Vicki had her NXT rookie make an introduction but once again Vicki just shouted at her. I am hoping that Kaitlin will rebel against Vicki; it seems like her style of character as she described herself as a bit of a rebel child.
The match was good it saw Masters and Kofi take the win.
Big Show cut a promo backstage pushing on his latest personality. He has taken the roll of a more comical face character most probably matching the character he is playing in his film Knuckle head. In the promo he acted out Josh Matthews in a way of interviewing himself. It was rather humorous and made me chuckle.
We then headed in to the last match of the night as Taker took on Punk. The match was brilliant even with Taker still acting ill. The match was a close one, Taker nailed a Choke Slam on Punk and looked to be over but Punk kicked out, Punk was then able to get the GTS. He collapsed from weakness and slowly crawled to the cover but as soon as he got to Taker the Devils Gate closed on Punk and he tapped out giving Taker the win. After the match taker did his usual bow and the lights went purple but then the lights went red and flames blew out the corners, we then just heard Kane’s demotic laugh to end the show.
A great show that made me feel better after NXT. Great matches and Promos I don’t think I can find a bad thing to say about this which is always a good thing. I want to see more from Kaval and some further development in the Dolph Ziggler storyline and more from Del Rio.
Raw this week will hopefully see who will be added to the Six Pack match at NOC and we may see what will be happening with Jericho. There has been a lot of talk and articles around the web about Jericho’s future with the company which may still be undecided.
Don’t forget to watch 2am Monday night.

NXT3… FAIL!!
Well I think the title of this blog says it all really. I was actually looking forward to getting home from my nightshift; sitting back and watching some good female wrestlers get in the ring and fight.
Unfortunately I was bitterly disappointed. After the opening intros which took way to long we ended up with a lame dance challenge, which Naomi won. We then had the first match from these rookies as Naomi and Kelly Kelly went against Maxine and Alicia Fox. Match was reasonable but I have seen better from female wrestlers in the past. The end of the match was a mess; Naomi got a 3 count but it wasn’t the moment that the match was meant to end. After the bell had rung Naomi and Maxine continued to do the ending that was meant to finish the match. Naomi did a Suplex (must be her finisher) and rolled into a pin but of cores the match was already finished.
We then had another challenge this time being capture the flag. Naomi also won that making her 3 for 3.
We then had our second match which was AJ and Primo vs. Goldust and Aksana. Once again this match had a failed ending, AJ came in to do her finisher but neither her or Aksana was able to complete it, they ended up in just a tangled mess. AJ decided to go for the move again this time nailing it and finishing the match.
At the beginning of the show Vicki reviled her new rookie to be a girl called Kaitlin. She stood out to me but not because she looks like a wrestler I think it’s just because she looks very attractive to me. Vicki bosses her around like a small child or a dog. Vicki also didn’t like the way Kaitlin introduced herself at the beginning of the show, and had asked her to do it again. After the last match she dragged Kaitlin to the ring and was going to make her do the intro one more time. Not happy about Vicki raining on AJ’s celebration AJ insulted Vicki, Vicki then asked Kaitlin to “sickum” as if she was a dog. Kaitlin was then shoved onto Vicki who just screamed in a very crazy manner. This odd segment ended the show.
My thoughts are that this is going to be a stupid and rubbish season, and after watching it I could only find one word to describe it, FAIL!

Jericho out of the Six Pack
Raw this week was an improvement to recent weeks but still could have been better.
The main subject is the fact that Jericho is now out of the six pack challenge. As Jericho and Edge walked away from the Tag Team match last week, the GM thought to punish them.
Both would go into one on one matches against an opponents of the GM’s choice, (although Edge tried his best to convince the GM to choose Zack Ryder to be his opponent he still got Khali.) and if Jericho or Edge lost they would be out of the Six Pack Match at NOC.
Jericho was first up and he went against John Morrison in a very good match, it ended in star ship pain to Jericho which leads to the 1-2-3, which took Jericho out of the WWE Championship match at NOC.
His replacement is looking to possibly be John Morrison that’s if Jericho doesn’t worm his way back in. We also do not know if Jericho will be sticking around as he had already vowed that if he didn’t win the WWE Title, he would leave WWE. When back stage Josh Matthews asked Jericho what would be next for him, he just sat in silence but the crowd may have answered on his behalf as someone chanted TNA in response, which is a very strong possibility.
Edge took on the Great Khali and won via count out, the GM was not pleased by this win and restarted the match making it a No DQ over the top rope challenge.
The match was lame and badly performed, there was a moment where Edge left the ring via going through the ropes and Khali went in pursuit by stepping over the top rope. Michael Cole did the best work on commentary at that moment, as he pointed out the fact that Khali should now be eliminated yet the ref had not called it. The second time he went to do the step over Edge grabbed his leg and pulled him down; it was then that the Ref called it.
We had two other matches in relation to the WWE Title storyline as John Cena took on Justin Gabriel and Wade Barrett faced Randy Orton.
Cena and Gabriel put on a great contest. Gabriel was the one I wanted to win NXT1 and in this match he was showing why I wanted him to win.
Gabriel did lose after receiving an AA from the top rope.
Wade and Randy’s match had a special stipulation; the winner will face John Cena next week.
For this match Edge, Cena and Sheamus sat at ringside with Cole and Jerry.
Another good match with an interesting ending, as Wade was taking some control some unfamiliar entrance music played, we looked to see Darren Young come out, his music stopped and he spoke to Wade about being kicked out of Nexus. This was the distraction that Orton needed, Wade turned around to just see the Fangs of an RKO. Once Orton had the win he ushered Young to the ring with a smile as if he was going to congratulate the man. Young happily entered the ring, Orton then proceeded to thank Young by giving him an RKO as well. Sheamus then took a chance but also received the Vipers sting, Edge soon followed. Cena entered the ring but the two did not butt heads as they stared each other down to end the show.
During the night we also had the creation of another highly anticipated match for NOC.
The Miz cut a promo to revile his first ever WWE Magazine cover, we also had a look back at his career from a reality TV star all the way to now being US Champ and Mr. Money in the Bank, as well as being on the front cover of a WWE Mag.
Daniel Bryan then came to the ring making the Promo even more interesting, he told us some stuff about his career and challenged Miz to a US championship match at NOC, Miz accepted and then went on the attack but Bryan was able to take advantage and lock in his Submission. We then had former NXT Rookie Alex Riley come flying through the crowd and attack Bryan allowing Miz to escape, Bryan then locked in the Submission on Riley and smiled at Miz as Riley tapped constantly.
This will be a match I am really looking forward to.
The only other match of the night was a Diva match between Melina and Alicia Fox which Melina won with ease.
Recently I’ve been seeing these Divas matches as a Deleted scene. When making a movie or a TV show you have got to consider weather or not the Scenes move the story forward, if it doesn’t then there is no need for it and it becomes a deleted scene. I learnt that from a YouTuber called Freddie Wong, maybe WWE should take the hint also, and not waste our time with unneeded matches.
Overall a good show and better than previous weeks but they still need improving. More and more people are switching off WWE and making there way to TNA, or not watching wrestling at all. If I ask someone about Wrestling they will either say that they watch TNA, because WWE has gone down hill or that they stopped watching after the Attitude Era ended. Yes WWE may have a strong following from there younger audience but since when was Wrestling aimed at the younger crowd. But this is something that has been covered on numerous occasions and I don’t think I should repeat myself.
Anyway that’s all for now.

NXT Diva already dropped and SmackDown! rundown.
Before I get into SmackDown! I would like to inform you all of the recent drop of one of the new NXT Divas.
The most stand out diva of the lot, the 6’9 Amazon of a woman has already been fired from NXT.
WWE’s website posted that Vicki fired Aloisia over disagreements they were having. Of cores I doubt this is the true reason to why this diva has been dropped from the show before it’s even started, but nothing else has been posted on the matter.
Also Kaval and LayCool are booked to appear on Raw, Kaval may be joining the Bryan, Miz storyline. Will we see Kaval go for US gold or maybe even Tag with Bryan for Tag Team gold?
Anyway now to SmackDown! Which wasn’t to amazing yet again. Both Raw and SmackDown! Have fallen over the last few weeks, storylines are getting stale and boring.
We started the show with Mexican JBL, Alberto Del Rio. He had the ring all set out like he was having a party. This is his way of him celebrating the beat down he gave Rey the week before.
He was interrupted by Christian who came to mock Del Rio even comparing him to JBL.
Christian challenged Del Rio even though Christian had a match already scheduled. Del Rio refused and made his exit. It was then that Drew McIntyre attacked Christian from behind to get kicked off for our first match of the night.
Drew and Christian went on in a solid bout but nothing to amazing. Christian won with a quick roll up.
We then had a short match between McCool and Kelly. McCool won after the faith breaker.
Dolph Ziggler went up against Chris Masters. Dolph won it easy giving him some momentum. It is a shame to have someone like Masters used to boost others, I feel that with a good storyline he could be a great superstar and future champ, but like some many others he is put on the back burner.
Big Show took on the S.E.S yet again. The match was just like any other they have had. Show won pinning Gallows. Punk was not pleased with Gallows performance in the match so he decided to plant a GTS on him. Does this mean that he is out of the S.E.S or is it just some hard discipline?
Jack Swagger then hosted MVP’s VIP lounge. His guest was his “dad”. Swagger used this segment to brag about the usual things but MVP soon came in and closed the lounge for renovations. He cleared some space and got ready to fight but Swagger used his dad as a human shield (his dad was in a wheelchair).
Swagger escaped and left his dad in the ring to receive the moves that were meant for him.
Cody Rhodes beat Matt Hardy. Apparently Hardy lashed out on twitter this week; we may see him leave WWE and head towards TNA in the not so distant future.
Through out the night we were getting pumped for a major announcement from Kane. This wasn’t necessary as the announcement was predictable. In a very flashy and fancy way he announced that he will take on the Undertaker at NOC and “End Undertakers existence.” They are going back to the time when Kane first appeared on our screens by using a lot of Special Effects, and playing on there characters Super Natural abilities, this time round though Kane is more empowered than Taker.
There segment ended the show.
Nothing stood out for me in this show and I am not feeling any hype for NOC. I am acutely glad that NOC is going to be on SkySports1 and not on BoxOffice, because I would rather not pay out for a show that is just not hitting its target.
Anyway I am going to watch some of the US Open so this is Matty.D signing off.

Kaval wins and NXT3 will be divas!
I’ve been quite looking forward to writing this blog since I watched NXT, main reason being, Kaval won! And I am very pleased.
Also they announced NXT season 3, but this season is going to be different from all others as this time it will be a completely Divas competition, as all the Rookies are Divas. Basically this will be a Diva search.
Before we get onto the new season lets look at the final episode of NXT2.
We had, as predicted, a Triple Threat Match between the remaining rookies. A good and reasonably lengthy match. Best performer of the match by far was Kaval, but Riley was the one to steal the win.
After the match Matt Stryker asked the eliminated rookies, who were sitting in the front row, who should win. None of them said Kaval most said Riley.
Riley was then eliminated first.
We then had Kaval and McGillicutty show there promo skills telling us why they are going to be the winner. Both did well on the microphone.
Matt then announced that Kaval was the winner. McGillicutty had some final words, saying he will still get into the WWE and that this is the beginning of the Genesis of McGillicutty.
As Kaval celebrated he was attacked by all the rookies from the season, the pros came to there aid but ended up being cleared from the ring. Alex Riley and McGillicutty joined the fight as the rookies focused on Kaval.
This segment was a bit of a mess. The pros ended up leaving the ring but not because of the rookies kicking them out of the ring, but because the refs came down and held them back. Also Alex Riley must have got confused on who he is meant to be attacking as he threw some moves on Percy Watson and chucked him from the ring.
Once the pros were out the way the rookies did some finishers to Kaval and left him down in the ring.
An interesting ending to the season, does this mean that the rookies are joining the Nexus? Or is this going to be a repeat storyline, will all the rookies team up as a team called Genesis being lead by McGillicutty? We will just have to wait and see but at the moment in my eyes it doesn’t look to promising.
Now threw out the night the Diva rookies and there pros were announced for NXT3, and we do have some very interesting and good looking rookie Divas, they all look like the type that’s going to be tough in the ring.
Here are our Diva rookies and there pros:
1. Pro: Kelly Kelly Rookie: Naomi
2. Pro: Alicia Fox Rookie: Maxine
3. Pro: Goldust Rookie: Aksana
4. Pro: The Bella Twins Rookie: Jamie
5. Pro: Primo Rookie: A.J Lee
6. Pro: Vickie Guerrero Rookie: Aloisia
Now all of these Rookies look like women that will be able to actually wrestle, all of them are well built and muscled up, in fact most of them look like they will be better in the ring than the Pros that will be “Coaching” them.
Now lets take a deeper look at these Diva Rookies.
First up is a woman called Naomi, a Black women with flexible skills and a muscle body yet of cores still looking like a lady. Her Pro is Kelly Kelly who is the most experienced Diva in this collection of Pros that they have selected but already Naomi is looking better than Kelly.
Maxine doesn’t stick out for me and I haven’t seen anything of her but she does already look an improvement on today’s Diva talent.
Aksana is a very attractive Lithuanian fitness model and body builder. Now she may look like a Barbie doll but she also looks like she could break your neck with her legs. Why she is being couched by Goldust is a mystery to me.
Jamie is the current ring announcer on NXT she is once again very attractive girl but not as Barbie doll as Aksana. She is also very well built but her two silicone fun bags look in disproportion to the rest of body. Once again she looks more like a wrestler than her low level pros the Bella Twins.
A.J Lee is a high level Diva from the FCW, WWE’s development programme. She was meant to be a new Diva on SmackDown! But it looks like they have knocked that idea on the head. She has the Pro of Primo. If you ask me Primo has just hit a new low in his career, from Unified Tag Champ all the way down to being a Pro for a Diva on NXT. Is he not good enough for a male rookie?
Lastly is an Amazon women. Aloisia is a 6’9 giant of a woman. As Chyna was the 9th wonder of the world this lady must be the 10th.
If you are reading this on my Blogger check out the picture I have provided, you can see the height of this woman compared to the other Diva rookies and although she is huge she still looks like a lady.
Her Pro is Vicki Guerrero. Now Vicki may not be a wrestler but she has shown great skill in managing superstars, such as Dolph, and Edge and even current co women’s Champs LayCool. This may be a strong plus to Aloisia.
Now is this going to be a good season focused on the wrestling ability of these girls or is it going to be one giant fashion contest where we just judge it on who looks the best? I am hoping for some actual wrestling but I am not going to get my hopes up.
Well that’s all for now Matty.D singing off.

Raw almost puts me to sleep
You know, for a history making 900th episode of Raw you would expect something special or spectacular. That wasn’t the case Monday night as the show failed to grasp me and almost put me to sleep; nothing really excited me or really entertained me. It was also only a 2 hour show where I was expecting 3 hours of show.
We started the show with Brett Hart.
He came to the ring to talk to the crowd but during his moment Kane came to the ring. Kane spoke about how Taker took out the ledged of Shawn Michaels at Wrestlemania 26. Kane claimed he wanted to take out his own icon. He went after Brett close to choke slamming him when the Tag Champs the Hart Dynasty came to the rescue. Unfortunately the two was not able to take the big man down as Kane cleared them from the ring. He then focused back on Brett but a Gong sounded and the lights went out. When the lights came back The Undertaker was standing in the ring. Kane decided to leave the ring instead of face his foe.
The GM Chimed in and said he wanted to see an Icon taken out as well. So he made a match for later in the night, but not Kane vs. Brett, he made the match of The Undertaker vs. Brett.
Later in the night we were set for the match. Brett stood in the ring and watched as we witnessed the Undertakers famous entrance.
As the two prepared to battle Wade Barrett came out. Earlier in the night Wade said he would do something unforgettable, and this was his attempt.
He came to the ring but was attacked by Taker. While that was happening the lights went out. When they arose Kane was in the ring, Taker and Kane ended up locking throats but the lights went out again, this time when they arose the Nexus were around the ring. Taker was able to keep them at bay but while the commotion ensued the lights went out yet again. This time when the light arose Nexus were in control as Wade had Taker over his shoulders ready to slam him to the mat which is what soon followed.
After the slam Gabriel nailed the 450 splash.
Honestly I didn’t think much of the segment and it was hard to follow and was hard to take in. The announcers said that Kane may be in control of the light changes.
The main event of the show was a 5 on 5 elimination tag match. The Nexus took on an all star team of Sheamus, Randy Orton, Edge, Chris Jericho and John Cena.
Earlier in the night Jericho once again said he would leave if he does not win the WWE title. This may be a strong possibility.
Jericho argued with Cena to be the starter in the match, to save the team falling apart Cena allowed Jericho the spot, unfortunately Jericho had no intention of sticking around as he left the match almost immediately soon followed by Edge, leaving only Orton, Sheamus and Cena to fight the match.
The match then moved on, first eliminated was Sheamus by Heath Slater, Cena then stepped up but was eliminated by Gabriel and his 450 Splash. Orton then in quick succession eliminated both Gabriel and Tarver but he was then eliminated by Barrett who won the match over all and stood tall.
Other matches didn’t quite amaze me either, there was one that looked promising but then didn’t live up to my expectations.
That match was a triple threat tag team match which included the three finalists of NXT. Kaval teamed with Daniel Bryan, which at first thought could have been a dream team. Kofi teamed with his Rookie McGillicutty and Miz teamed with Alex Riley.
The match on paper looked to be great; epically the idea of having Bryan and Kaval on the same team, but it didn’t meet expectations.
Miz and Riley took the win.
We had LayCool vs. Melina and Eve. Melina won in a short match that didn’t do much for anyone. After the match LayCool challenged Melina to a title unification match at NOC. Melina accepted so she will be facing one of the members of LayCool for the combining of the two belts.
Apparently this is something they want to do with all titles in the coming year. They have already combined the Tag next will be the Women’s and Divas titles. US and Intercontinental will be combined and lastly the World and WWE title which will most probably happen at Wrestlemania 27. If this is all to happen it should interesting to see how the storylines are going to develop.
We had a No.1 contender match for the Tag Titles as Morrison and R-Truth take on the recently developing team of Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre.
The match ended on a double DQ so we still do not have a No.1 contender but it may mean a triple threat tag match.
Jack Swagger defeated Evan Bourn, after the match Alberto Del Rio came down to make another impression by attacking Bourn, Mark Henry came to Bourns aid and chased Del Rio out.
Punk cut a promo of insults for the fans before the final match of the night. He was interrupted by Big Show who ended up giving an almighty Chop to Punks to chest.
Overall, a low night that didn’t scream historic. The show was just like any other but was boring and slow. It seams that WWE maybe losing there edge again and they need to think about ways of mixing things up and putting a more exciting spin on the current stories.
That’s all for now till my NXT blog where hopefully I will be telling you that Kaval is the winner and Next Break Out Star.

Another Former WWE Star Passes
Start off on another sad note as yet another former WWE star passes away. Former Diva Gertrude Vachon, better know for her in ring name Luna Vachon was found dead at 10am Friday morning. She died at the age of 48.
I am unfamiliar with her work during WWE as she was a performer before my time of watching.
My deepest condolences to Luna’s family and friends.
This weeks SmackDown! Wasn’t very amazing, although we saw the return of the Undertaker we didn’t get to see him in action. At the end of the show Kane and Undertaker cut a promo, hinting towards Taker vs. Kane at NOC.
Although that is all we saw of Taker it was a good promo, its something that both Kane and Taker are very good at.
At the start of the show Kane took on Rey but this time it was under Kane’s rule of no DQ.
The match didn’t last that long and wasn’t too great either, Kane made short work of the smaller man.
After the match Alberto Del Rio came down and also attacked Rey targeting his injured arm. After slamming Rey’s arm in a steal chair he locked in his Arm Bar.
This may be to remove Rey from our screens and give him a break.
Later on Alberto made short work of a local competitor to help push him up the ranks and make him look good in the process.
CM Punk went up against JTG. JTG is just a failing competitor now neither he nor Shad have made anything of them selves since splitting, they were better off together.
Punk ended it with the GTS and the anaconda vice.
Punk then had the S.E.S on there knees in the ring and told them to be better or they are gone. This angle will most probably be used as the reason for Serena’s leaving.
She was present at this show as it was recorded earlier in the week before the decision was made for her release.
I wish her well and hope to see her wrestling again soon, (with a full head of hair I hope).
Later Luke Gallows took on the Big Show, CM Punk watched back stage to see his S.E.S member win but unfortunately Big Shows right hand met Luck Gallows face with an almighty smack allowing Show to pick up the win.
Kofi battled with Dolph once again but this time if Dolph is disqualified, he loses the title.
Now usually seeing the same two Superstars wrestle every week against each other can get quite samey and repetitive, but that doesn’t seem to be the case with these two, it was a good match in fact id say bet match of the night.
Kofi won but not by, DQ, pin, or Submission, thanks to Vicki keeping Dolph outside the ring Kofi won via count out, but Dolph there for is able to keep his belt.
The last match to mention is Jack Swagger vs. MVP in a Senior Invitational. It was an interesting and unique contest as it was done in the style of proper wrestling. The rules were the first to get five take downs wins.
If MVP won Swagger would have to pay for MVP’s Summer Block Party, and if Swagger won he would host MVP’s VIP lounge for one night.
Swagger took an early lead going three to zero; MVP became frustrated and slapped Swagger getting himself instantly disqualified. Swagger didn’t let it end there though, he attacked MVP and locked in his ankle lock outside the ring.
We did see LayCool back stage with there Rookie Kaval, LayCool spoke more about seeing Melina on Raw.
Hornswoggle reviled LayCool’s plan to Teddy Long in the form of charades.
What LayCool are going to do is still unknown to us.
Raw I believe will be a 3 hour special and will have stars from all over the WWE universe; we will most probably have a lot of the extra hour used to show old footage of Raw.
Make sure to tune to Raw for the historic episode.

Short NXT Blog
Well this blog will be very short as NXT didn’t really have much happen, well at least nothing that could use a long rundown.
Show started with the rookies cutting promos to help push there characters, it lead into Kaval challenging “Dashing” Cody Rhodes. Cody declined the challenge as according to him Kaval is not on his level.
As Cody denied Kaval, MVP stepped up to make a challenge as he is on Cody’s level, Cody this time accepted.
We then moved into a trivia quiz for three rookies, a good segment if you like quizzes but otherwise it was unneeded. Kaval won the quiz and there for had won a big piece on wwe.com.
The last part of the show was the very long match between Cody and MVP. It was used to fill the rest of the show and most probably save any rookie matches, such as triple threat, till next weeks final.
The match wasn’t bad but it wasn’t great either. I’ve seen better matches of great length, so I found my self getting a bit bored, but that may have been to the fact that I had just worked a nightshift and was rather tiered.
Cody won after a lot of back and forth, but he nailed the Alabama Slam and the Cross Rhodes to pick up the 1-2-3.
The show ended there.
As you can see a short blog for a not so active show.
In other news Stephanie McMahon and Paul Levesque (Triple H) recently had there third child, a baby girl, a name has not been reported. So congrats to them.
Trips must be feeling a bit out numbered now though as he now has three daughters, he is the only man of the house hold.
Well that’s all for now don’t forget to watch SmackDown! Tonight to see Undertakers return to the show and also see the other stories develop.
Matty.D singing off.

6 Pack Challenge at Night of Champs
This weeks Raw was its usual, up and down show with highs and lows.
The show started with Sheamus. He came to the ring to speak his usual drivel and also insult the younger WWE fans. He compared Randy Orton to a spoiled child and claimed that Orton did not deserve another title shot.
The GM soon chimed in to show some favouritism towards Sheamus. The GM had a throne brought out, he then said that Sheamus would sit in that throne and watch the night’s action, at the end of the night Sheamus can then select his opponent for NOC.
Sheamus took his seat on the throne and got ready to watch the first match of the night.
R-Truth went head to head with Edge in a good opening contest. Edge came out the winner after dodging a kick and landing the Spear. The match was very back and forth, I hope they use Truth more often in big matches.
After the match Edge cut a little promo giving reasons why he should get the shot at the WWE championship.
Chris Jericho then went against a slightly injured Great Khali. Through out the match Jericho targeted Khali’s injured leg. After a less than amazing bout Jericho locked in the Walls of Jericho and made Khali tap.
He also cut a promo about his reasons for getting the shot.
We then took a break from that storyline to have a boring Divas contest.
Melina took on Jillian Hall. Melina of cores won.
After the contest LayCool appeared on the big screen to announce that they will be at Raw next week for the 900th episode, I am interested in where this story is going, I’m guessing that we may see one member of LayCool take on Melina for the Divas title at NOC, that way LayCool can have an official title each.
Next the Nexus was bought out. The GM announced that he was impressed with them last week and there ban on competing for titles was now lifted. Wade then looked to Sheamus and said, “Our truce is over.”
We then had Miz vs. Cena in another good contest showing Miz’s continuing development.
The match was back and forth but Miz ended up winning by DQ as Daniel Bryan came to the ring and attacked Miz. Cena then smiled and left Bryan to do as he wished. Bryan got in the ring and locked in his very deadly looking cross face. It took 4 or 5 refs to pry the enraged man off.
We then saw Santino and Vladimir beat the Usos. We also saw the development of Tamina having feelings for Santino in a lame storyline.
We then had an excellent three way match as Randy Orton, John Morrison and Ted DiBase butted heads. Some of Morrison’s kicks didn’t look to great but that was about the only fault I saw.
Orton once again shone through as he nailed an RKO to a flying Morrison to take the win. Once he was standing tall DiBase came in for the attack but also fell to the RKO.
The Celtic warrior had decided to leave during the last match. Back stage he said he has decided who he will face.
He returned to the ring and said that he will defend his championship tonight instead of NOC against his challenger…. Zack Ryder…. That’s right.
He beat him very quickly retaining his title. He then announced that according to contract he doesn’t have to defend the title for another 30 days. All seemed good for Sheamus, a bye for NOC easy he thinks, wrong.
Wade Barrett came to the ring and reminded Sheamus of what Wade won after NXT. A title shot of his choice at a PPV of his choosing, and he announced that Sheamus will take Wade on at NOC for the WWE title.
The GM soon chimed announcing that Sheamus will not just defend against Wade but also against four others in a 6 pack challenge.
He then reviled the rest of the opponents, Edge, Chris Jericho, John Cena, and Randy Orton.
All the men stood in the ring, Wade then realised he was in a very familiar situation but he was on the other side of the coin.
Wade found himself surrounded by the rest of the men, he tried to talk himself out of it but wasn’t successful as he was mauled by the group and thrown out the ring by Sheamus. Sheamus then turned into a Code Breaker that led Jericho into a Spear, which led Edge into an Attitude Adjustment, and then ended on an RKO to Cena to leave Orton standing tall once again.
I think this is going to be one hell of a match but I do wish it was a Championship Scramble and not a 6 Pack Challenge.
Like I said before, it was a high and low show.
Next week we see the historic 900th episode with stars from SmackDown! And Raw coming together for a Super Show so make sure to tune in as they make history.
On other news shockingly S.E.S Diva Serena has been released.
Wrestling Edge posted the following:
While specific details surrounding Serena’s abrupt departure from WWE have yet to be disclosed, it said that she was let go in a disciplinary measure. The Pro Wrestling Torch cryptically notes that she was not “living out” her Straight Edge Society persona in public.
The decision to cut the six-time Ohio Valley Wrestling Women’s Champion was actually made a few days ago, but word had not surfaced until Monday night.
It would appear that an official announcement has not yet been made by WWE as she’s due to make an appearance on this week’s edition of Friday Night SmackDown, which was taped last Wednesday. She accompanies Luke Gallows to the ring for a match against Big Show.
*********************************************************************
So it looks like Fridays SmackDown! Will be the last we see of Serena. Weather or not she will be resigned in the future is unknown, maybe we will see her move to TNA as it looks like she can wrestle from what we saw the week before and her history at OVW and FCW I just hope when we see her again she will have her hair back.
Well that’s all for now Matty.D signing off.

Alberto Del Rio Debuts!
This weeks SmackDown! Saw the debut of new star Alberto Del Rio. Over the past few weeks we have been seeing promo clips to push his character and style, (if you’re like me you either muted the TV during these promos, or fast forwarded the segment.)
We kicked off with Rey Mysterio cutting a promo to be soon interrupted by Alberto. This is good way to push him up the ladder fast; by going for the big stars he will rise quicker to becoming a big superstar as well.
After sharing words Rey challenged Del Rio for later in the night witch Del Rio accepted.
Last match of the night was Del Rio vs. Rey, through out the show this match was mentioned to really get us interested.
Del Rio I would say is, a Spanish cross between Eddie Guerrero and JBL, the reason I say that is because he flaunts his money around like JBL, and enters the ring driving a fancy car like Eddie.
The match was actually quite good and I see a lot of potential from this new up and comer, he showed good moves and great style.
The match went on going back and forth, in the end Del Rio locked in an Arm Bar but the way he locked it in was very stylish and well performed. A good finisher. The Arm Bar itself didn’t look to menacing but the way he got to it was what stood out. Rey tapped out to the lock giving the win to Del Rio making it impressive debut. After the match Del Rio locked the Arm Bar in again to show more on his Heel side.
The Intercontinental championship match from SummerSlam had a re do as Dolph and Kofi go head to head once again.
The match was going well until the cougar Vicki Guerrero got involved and actually got Dolph disqualified, of cores that means that Dolph gets to keep his title.
Post match Dolph beat on Kofi, then doing the Zig Zag before locking in his Sleeper hold. When it looked like he was all done and went to leave he returned to the ring once more and gave Kofi a hard stamp over the neck, it looked so real that I actually rewound to look at it again.
Serena of the S.E.S had her SmackDown! In ring debut as she tagged with fellow S.E.S member Luke Gallows. Before this match Punk told the two that if they lost they would be both out of the group.
They went up against the team of Kelly Kelly and Big Show. Serena and Kelly started in the ring first and Serena showed great skill, Gallows and Show didn’t see much action as they just fell over the ropes during a typical moment. Serena picked up the win.
Kane told us the reasons for the Undertaker attack which is basically the same storyline as every other time they have butted heads, the only difference is this time Kane has the World Title and the upper hand.
There was further development of the Drew, Cody tag team as Drew went head to head with Christian and Cody watched from the announcers table.
Drew didn’t come out the winner this time and lost to a quick crucifix pin by Christian. After the match Drew and Cody beat on Christian showing them selves as a strong alliance. Matt Hardy came limping to Christian’s aid but he was soon eradicated as well.
Not an amazing show but was of a reasonable level. I look forward to seeing what else Del Rio has to bring to the show and see where his story will go.
The next PPV is Night of Champions so over the next few shows we should see strong focus on all titles, may even see the Nexus on Raw looking to Gold.

And then there were three.
This weeks NXT saw a double elimination and some great matches.
The show started with the rookies having there say about a personally selected subject. All the rookies did well and all looked to be in good moods, but one of the moods was about to change as the first elimination of the night was announced next.
The first elimination was “Showtime” Percy Watson. He gave good farewell speech and then went on his way.
We then had 3 great matches, Zack Ryder took on Michael McGillicutty, and Ryder won. Husky Harris and Kaval butted heads again in the best match out of the night, Kaval finally was able to get his solo win and take one over the big man.
And lastly Kofi Kingston took on Alex Riley, with Kofi taking the win.
We then had the last elimination of the night. Husky Harris was the man to take the last spot and be waving us goodbye. Cody Rhodes was not happy about his rookie’s elimination and was very vocal about it. He shouted at the crowd and the pros before coming down to the rookies insulting them all. When Cody got to Kaval he started to fight him and Husky assisted, MVP and Kofi came flying down to help, once MVP and Kofi had beaten Cody and Husky off Kaval, Kaval climbed the top rope and jumped sky high and landed feet first on Husky. He then stood with his lovely diva Pros and MVP and Kofi stared down Husky and Cody forcing them to walk away.
So that leaves three rookies for the final in 2 weeks time. Although there can be only one winner I see, Kaval, Husky, Percy, Alex, and McGillicutty all getting permanent contracts in the near future.
So who will win? Kaval, Riley or McGillicutty. When the voting, is open get in to make sure your favourite rookie becomes your next Break Out Star.

Raw and Ugly New Tag Belts Revealed.
Now the sunshine may have gone here in England, but SummerSlams beams of light shone through to last nights Raw.
The main and almost only focus of the show was what was going to happen with the Nexus.
We started the show with a promo from the Nexus telling us “what doesn’t kill us only makes us stronger.”
Cena then came out and cracked jokes and made fun of each member of the Nexus individually.
The GM soon chimed in putting the Nexus in a series of matches against the seven members of team WWE, rules being that the rest of the Nexus can’t interfere in the matches, and the Nexus can choose who goes against whom, except for Wade who will face Jericho in the first match of the night. Wade then announced that if any member of the Nexus loses they are exiled from the team, Otunga then said that the same will go for Wade as well.
Wade then goes head to head with Jericho in good opening contest, Jericho and Wade was both on form. Jericho looked to come close to the win on a few occasions but it was Wade who took the victory.
Next Michael Tarver took on former Nexus member Daniel Bryan. The match was great, Daniel Bryan is so good in that ring, and I enjoy watching him wrestle more and more each time.
Bryan was in control through out and looked to take the win when Miz and his current NXT rookie Alex Riley came flying to the ring, they distracted Bryan which allowed Tarver to take the win.
After the match the three men, Tarver, Miz and Riley fought Bryan outside the ring, Miz then did his Skull Crushing Finale to Bryan onto his Brief Case. Now usually the superstar receiving the Skull Crushing Finale puts there hands in the way of there face at the last moment to avoid injury, but still letting the move look effective, Daniel Bryan though decided to take that brief case head on, it made it look more devastating and a lot more impressive, respect to Bryan for taking the hit.
Before the matches continued we had a segment from the guest hosts, the stars of the new film Going the Distance. They bought out the Hart Dynasty, while the team was in the ring the GM chimed, Cole announced that the unified tag titles will now just be known as the WWE Tag Team Championships, he then introduced Bret Hart to present the Hart Dynasty with the new Tag Team title belts.
My first opinion of these new belts are…. ok I will be honest, I think there horrid, the colour is awful, the design doesn’t look good, and they don’t look no where near as nice as the original World Tag and WWE Tag belts. I have hated the design of previous belts before though, such as the current WWE championship, but they have grown on me, or should I say I have got used to seeing said belt.
While the Dynasty posed with there belts and there Uncle, the Nexus came on the screen to say that they have chose Bret’s opponent for the night, Justin Gabriel.
Justin Gabriel comes to the ring and waits for Bret but the GM had other ideas. He chimed and Cole made another announcement. Apparently the GM doesn’t like Bret and never wants him to wrestle on Raw again, the crowd did not approve of this but there boo’s soon turned to cheers as Bret’s replacement was revealed to be, The Viper Randy Orton.
Orton and Gabriel had a hell of a match and Orton was in control threw out, Orton was on fire from start to finish and the crowd were on there feet almost all the way threw as Orton knows how to pump us all up.
Orton was coiled to strike with an RKO when his snake senses tingled, he span round to face Sheamus, he jumped from the ring and attacked the Irishmen and the two fought into the crowd, while that was happening the Ref started his count out and quickly got to 10 allowing Gabriel to take the win.
When Orton heard that he had lost he jumped to the ring and nailed an RKO on Gabriel, he then went back out of the outside and wailed on Sheamus with a steel chair, Orton then started to leave when he ran back and nailed the RKO on the barley standing jar of mayonnaise.
The next Nexus match was a tag team match. David Otunga and Skip Sheffield teamed to take on R-Truth and John Morrison.
The two big men of the Nexus prevailed, beating down the two popular superstars.
We took a moment out of the Nexus story for a Divas match, nothing to special there.
Heath Slater then took on Edge, another great match but Nexus winning by a count out yet again as Heath dodged a spear by getting in the ring just before the Ref hit 10.
Lastly we had Darren Young vs. John Cena. Before the match the Nexus appeared at the top of the ramp, they didn’t get involved they just stood and observed.
The match went well and Darren Young showed real skill. Unfortunately for Darren he ended up locked into the STF and was forced to tap making him the first and only member of the Nexus to lose.
As soon as it was over the rest of the Nexus ran to the ring and surrounded it. Cena stood ready to fight but realised that the Nexus had left an opening for him to leave; Cena left the ring and headed up the ramp. The Nexus stayed and surrounded there own team mate before pouncing and beating him like they have done too many others before. It looks like Young is the first to be booted from the Nexus.
Where will the story go now? Will Miz join the Nexus? Or will Nexus continue to fall apart? And what roll will Nexus have at Night Of Champions? Only time will tell.

Daniel Bryan is BACK!
Last night, in my eyes, saw a brilliant PPV. The sun website described the event as lukewarm but I really did not agree.
The main subject of the night was of cores the Nexus vs. Team WWE.
To kick off the PPV we had Kofi vs. Dolph for the IC Title, a good match which looked to Dolph winning as he locked in his sleeper hold, but for some reason Nexus made them selves known by coming in and attacking both men, once Dolph was removed from the ring the team beat on Kofi and Wade did his finisher. All this was to set an example for Team WWE.
During the show we had Jericho and Edge talk to Miz backstage to make a final attempt at convincing him into joining the match.
Later, before Orton vs. Sheamus, Miz came out to cut an excellent promo and also announcing that he is joining the team.
Last match of the night was Nexus vs. Team WWE. Nexus came out first and stood waiting as each member of Team WWE came down the ramp. Just as the last man, the Miz, came out of the entrance Cena started on the microphone and announcing that they have found someone better. The man Cena announced and came out of that entrance I didn’t even consider, so I was jumping for joy when Daniel Bryan came out to join the team.
The match that followed was absolutely brilliant, Daniel Bryan was first in with Darren Young, Bryan eliminated Young in under a minute with a painful looking submission wowing me and the crowd, and showing why he is the best wrestler ever to perform in the independent circuit.
Next was Tarver eliminated by Morrison but next in was the big man Skip Sheffield, who was able to eliminate both Morrison and R-Truth.
Bret then had his chance to show what he has to bring to this match as he fought with Heath Slater, the 52 year old man who has suffered a stroke years before looked good as he nailed some classic wrestling moves, unfortunately when he hooked in the Sharp Shooter Skip was able to get a Tag in, and a chair had been slid into the ring, Bret took the chair and wailed on Skip getting him self disqualified to the boo’s of the crowd.
Jericho and Edge was then able to take out the meat head with a Code Breaker and a Spear.
Jericho then took out Otunga with the Walls of Jericho and continued to be on Fire as he beat on Heath slamming him over the announcers table, once back in the ring though Jericho collided with Cena on the apron allowing Heath to eliminate Jericho, Edge and Cena argued about who will get in the ring which ended up being Edge but he didn’t last long as Heath quickly rolled him up also.
Edge and Jericho took out there anger on Cena outside the ring before leaving.
That just left Bryan and Cena vs. Heath, Wade and Justin.
Cena ended up getting a beating and almost getting eliminated on a few occasions but was able to stay strong. Cena was finally able to tag in Bryan who went nuts on Heath with Kicks and flips and other amazing moves, he was the Sun in this SummerSlam and if storylines and contracts go well, he is a future World Champion.
Heath was about to eliminate Bryan with a quick roll up but Bryan was able to twist it into another submission and was able to eliminate Slater in an almost MMA style move.
While enticing Gabriel or Wade into the ring, Miz came flying down and hit Bryan in the back of the head while the Ref was busy and had his back turn. Barrett took his chance to pin Bryan eliminating him.
This left Cena to take on the final two Nexus members. Gabriel and Barrett worked as a unit to inflict more pain on Cena including a DDT on the concrete outside the ring after the mats were pulled up.
It looked to be all over as Gabriel climbed the top rope for his 450 Splash. He flew, he span, and he missed as Cena rolled away, Cena then pinned Gabriel eliminating him turning this match to one on one.
Cena didn’t take long to lock in the STF finishing the match and winning it for WWE.
It was a great match at the end of a great show.
The other matches were pretty great as well. Well 2 out of the 3 were great, the Divas match of cores was the lowest point, nothing to special and after Melina won the championship LayCool came down for a interesting promo and to end up fighting Melina.
Orton and Sheamus put on a great match but with a not so great ending. After a hell of a match Sheamus gets himself disqualified, an enraged Orton is able to get the upper hand and nails an RKO on Sheamus across the announcers table. This would have been the perfect moment for Miz to cash in but due to the other storyline he didn’t take the chance even with the crowd chanting “We want Miz!”
Kane and Rey put on a reasonable match with an expected ending.
Kane beat Rey retaining the World Title, Kane then moved to putting Rey in the coffin but Undertaker appeared inside. Taker looked pail and with the lack of eye liner made him look ill, obviously playing on his recent vegetative state, he also acted ill and weak. He climbed to the ring and looked to Rey but after Rey pleaded his innocents taker turned to Kane. He locked on Kane’s throat, Kane showed a smile as he took Takers throat and over powered Takers hand releasing his grip, Kane then took Undertaker into a Tombstone pile driver setting the stage for there future storyline.
Overall I thought this was a brilliant show and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
I give SummerSlam a 4.5 out 5 stars.
I am really looking forward to Raw tonight, I hope we see Daniel Bryans career pushed further and possibly lead to a US Championship shot. Also I want to see where the Nexus will be heading now that they have been knocked down a peg, maybe Miz will become a new member to the team?
Raw tonight at 2am don’t miss it!

Lance Cade dead at 29
Well before we talk about SmackDown! And SummerSlam, we have some saddening news as another former WWE superstar has unfortunately died of heart failure, at the young age of 29.
Lance McNaught AKA Lance Cade died this week; WWE was informed Friday by Lances farther.
My deepest condolences go out to Lance’s friends and family.
To read more on this click the link to The Sun website at the bottom of the page.
Anyway let’s get to a more cheery subject of this weeks SmackDown! The final show before SummerSlam.
The main subject of the show was the World Title story combined with the Intercontinental Title story.
We started the show with Vicki Guerrero and Dolph Ziggler announcing there holiday to celebrate Dolph’s win of the Intercontinental Championship. This announcement was interrupted by the former champ Kofi Kingston.
Teddy Long soon appeared telling Dolph and Vicki to cancel the holiday as Dolph will be defending the title at SummerSlam against Kofi, just as I predicted, then he also said that Dolph would be in action against the #1 contender to the World Title, Rey Mysterio. Vicki then said that Kofi would have to take on Kane which Kofi agreed to.
Kofi and Kane then went head to head in great opening contest, Kane picked up the win after Kofi kicked the ring post missing the trouble in paradise, Kane was then able to Choke Slam Kofi from the top rope, then nail the Tombstone Pile Driver to finish it off.
The last match of the night was Rey vs. Dolph another great contest, during the match Kane came to the ring with a casket and stood by the ring with it waiting for the match to end so he could strike.
Rey was able to take the win with a quick roll up; as soon as Rey had won Kane took his chance and jumped to the ring where the two brawled. Kane ended up falling into the casket but like Rey last week was quick to jump straight back out.
At SummerSlam either Kane or Rey will end up in that casket but I bet it will be Undertakers hand that puts someone in. Obvious choice would of cores be Kane but Rey is still an option, how WWE takes the story may still be in the air.
Another story focus was the developing relationship between Cody and Drew, Cody took on Christian and later Drew took on Matt Hardy.
Before Cody’s match Drew spoke to him backstage showing signs of a future possible tag team.
Cody beat Christian in a good match and Drew was able to take down Matt, during Drew’s match he came close to breaking Matt’s foot as he jammed it between the two parts of the Steel Steps before stamping on it.
Big Show defeated three local wrestlers to give him a push before SummerSlam, S.E.S watched on at the top of the ramp and shared words after the match.
Jack Swagger seems to have fallen back to a middle level character as he took on MVP. MVP took the win with a quick roll up.
Let’s look at the final match card for SummerSlam:
Divas Championship:
Alicia Fox vs. Melina
Big Show vs. the S.E.S
Intercontinental Championship:
Dolph Ziggler vs. Kofi Kingston
Team WWE vs. The Nexus
World Heavyweight Championship:
Kane vs. Rey Mysterio
WWE Championship:
Randy Orton vs. Sheamus
We may see some more matches added on the night and I wouldn’t be surprised as some sort of Divas contest was created as well.
It’s looking to be a good event and hopefully will be a fun show.
SummerSlam will be on SkyBoxOffice and SkyBoxOfficeHD Sunday night/Monday Morning at 1am.
That’s all for now Matty.D signing off.

Out of Luck.
Before I start I know that some of you didn’t agree with last weeks NXT blog, but remember we are all entitled to our own opinions and mine was different from yours.
Any way this week saw an interesting NXT with a great rookie match.
The show started with a new NXT challenge. The challenge was a power of the punch challenge. The crowd didn’t quite get behind it but it didn’t last long. Alex Riley won the challenge and won the prize of appearing on Raw with out the rest of the rookies, it will be a good way to push his character.
During an ad break Miz and Morrison shared words in regards to the SummerSlam situation, it lead into the main event of the night being created, Miz vs. Morrison.
We then had the best match of the night as we see another 6 man tag match, a return match from Mondays Raw.
The match was a lot better than Raw’s match. The main man once again was Kaval but all the rookies shone in this match, it was a shame that we were losing yet another one later in the night.
We saw Lucky fly over the top rope in an awesome flying cross body, and Kaval did his usual kung fu style moves and locked in an interesting submission move on McGillicutty. All things went off track there as all the rookies fought and cleared the ring so Kaval can finish the match and receive his first win of the season.
Next was the main event as Miz took on John Morrison.
A great contest showing how good these rising stars are, unfortunately it doesn’t show any unity so if Miz ends up on team WWE at SummerSlam he most probably won’t gel well with his team mates.
Miz won after Morrison missed a kick to Miz and receiving a Skull Crashing Finale.
Last thing we saw of the show was the NXT poll, here are the results.
1. Kaval
2. Michael McGillicutty
3. “Showtime” Percy Watson
4. Husky Harris
5. Alex Riley
6. Lucky Cannon
As you can see we waved goodbye to the man who didn’t get to lucky this time round but he does claim it won’t be the last we see of him. It’s a shame to lose him after his performance earlier on in the night.
Before the show closed off Matt Stryker announced that next week will be a double elimination, so make sure to get your vote in to save the Rookie you don’t want to see go.
That’s all on NXT, last show before SummerSlam will be SmackDown! Tonight at 10pm on SkySports3 and SkySports3HD.

The Battle before the War!
Before I get into this weeks Raw I would like to bring your attention to an article from the Sun.
The Sun recently had an interview with the leader of the Attitude Era, Stone Cold Steve Austin. In the interview Austin praises WWE for there PG rating.
To read that article, click the link at the bottom of the page.
Now lets move on to Raw which saw the final steps to SummerSlam.
The main focus was Team WWE still trying to hold together.
The show started with a promo from Bret Hart, Chris Jericho and Edge as Bret attempted to convince the two back onto the team but it lead to small fight, this was interrupted by Natalya as she came to get Bret’s help as the Hart Dynasty was getting beaten backstage by the Nexus which was show on the big screen, eliminating two potential replacements.
Later on Mark Henry looked to be another, potential replacement but as soon as Nexus knew of this they went to work to remove him from that list attacking Mark as he got to the ring for his match against Ted DiBiase.
R-Truth and Morrison showed union as they defeated lower stars William Regal and Zack Ryder. A good match Morrison really shined with a new back flip manoeuvre and for the first time in weeks was able to actually land Star Ship Pain flush instead of missing completely.
The Great Khali was meant to face Wade Barrett but Khali was attacked on route to the ring eliminating him from the SummerSlam match.
Before the final match of the night Nexus cut a promo, the usual stuff there, and we saw Miz approach Cena and Bret making him a possible replacement, before we witnessed Bret Hart and Cena vs. Edge and Jericho.
The match was more of a 2 on 1 as Hart didn’t get tagged in. Through out the match we saw Jericho and Edge throw Cena to the wolves just chucking him through the ropes to the awaiting Nexus who beat him before throwing him back in to the ring to be thrown out again.
Jericho was then thrown out but the Nexus didn’t touch him. Then, in the match, inadvertently, Jericho hit Barrett who was on the ringside, so the next time Jericho was outside he received a beating before the angry Nexus set there sites on Hart and Cena. All of them filled the ring when Morrison and Truth slid in beside Cena and Hart.
Edge and Chris were making there way up the ramp when they stopped and finally had another change of heart running back to the ring and standing tall with the rest of the team showing there reuniting to team WWE.
It was then that the brawl started and the crowd erupted making the arena shake, even the cameras shook as they almost caused an earthquake.
The Nexus ended up fleeing through the crowd as team WWE stood tall and the crowd chanted “you suck” at the Nexus as they stood looking back ending what was overall a good show.
Around all this we did see other matches and story development.
US Champ, Money in the Bank winner, and Awesome one, The Miz, took on the High Flying Evan Bourn in great contest, The Miz took the win after his Skull Crushing Finale.
Melina defeated Alicia Fox earning herself a Divas championship shot at SummerSlam.
And we saw an unneeded summer swim suit match, although the Divas did look very sexy there was no real wrestling involved, and it was a chance for them to just run around looking pretty.
Santino was special ref for this match.
The WWE Championship story continued to move forward as Sheamus has a face to face with Orton, this lead into a fight and Sheamus coming close to being punted. Once Orton had left the ring Sheamus stayed to watch the next match.
That match was the stars of NXT season 2 in a 6 man tag match. Kaval, “Showtime” Percy Watson and Lucky Canon faced Alex Riley, Michael McGillicutty, and apparent Steve Austin favourite Husky Harris.
The match was of reasonable level but the crowd just wanted one star to shine as they chanted, “We want Low Ki!” of cores referring to Kaval’s former in ring name.
Unfortunately even with the back up from the fans, Kaval still fell victim to Husky Harris and lost the match.
It was after the match that the awaiting Sheamus took his chance to attack the rookies and laying an explanation point on Kaval nailing his power bomb on the lower star.
Overall this was great show that I enjoyed; at SummerSlam I believe the Great Khali’s replacement will end up being The Miz, but there is a possibility it could be someone else. We may see the unveiling of a fan favourite who has been absent but I would not be sure who that would be.
Any thoughts feel free to drop me a message or leave a comment below.
