Bryan Danielson Fired

Before I get onto last nights SmackDown! I just want to inform you all of the release of Bryan Danielson.

It was posted on wwe.com that he was released on June 11th.
After the first announcement of the release, speculation was that it is all part of a storyline, and its part of the angle of keeping things off the norm.
Later WWE said it is a legit release, and not a storyline. It is said that he was fired for the choking of ring announcer, Justin Roberts, during the NXT invasion angle on Raw.
Word is that someone important complained about the scene, saying that kids watching could think its fun to choke people with ties. Who ever it was that complained must have a lot of power.
WWE does want Bryan back.

Now for my personal opinion.
Who ever it was that complained needs to get the stick out of there ass, because if kids could think its fun to choke someone with a tie what is stopping a kid from thinking a body slam is fun? Or a submission move? Or hitting someone in the arm or back with a chair or kendo stick? You might as well cancel all of WWE if you think a simple tie choking is bad. This is similar to people blaming video games and movies for some violence or crimes. If WWE hadn’t focused on the kids they wouldn’t have even had this issue in the first place anyway.
To have Bryan fired over something this small is very petty of said person with power, and also very stupid of the WWE to fire the best NXT rookie they have.
Fingers crossed Bryan is rehired and we see him again soon, otherwise I wish him well in his future endeavours, and if WWE do not re hire him he should go to TNA, don’t let his talent go to waste and do it just to spite the WWE.

Anyway lets move on to last nights SmackDown!. The main focus of the night was the Fatal 4 Way storyline combined with Kane’s revenge storyline.
It started with Rey talking about F4W; Jack Swagger soon joined him followed by Punk and the S.E.S then the Big Show.
While they continued to go on about F4W, Kane appeared on the screen to accuse the 4 of them, and to show that the guilty person will end up in a coffin.
We then had the first match and in my eyes the best match of the night, Jack Swagger vs. Rey Mysterio. This match went on for quite a while, longer than most matches on SD! Or Raw theses days. The match was gripping and very well performed.
After Rey got the win Swagger started beating on Rey, Kane then came down and choke slammed them both.
Later in the night Punk went up against Big Show, that match ended with the S.E.S all attacking Big Show, Kane once again came down and choke slammed all of them, Punk, Gallows and the Mystery Man followed by Big Show.

Other matches included Layla vs. Tiffany in an ok Divas match. Layla picked up the win.
We saw another look back at the NXT invasion.
Christian faced Dolph Ziggler, who was accompanied by Vickie Guerrero. Christian won but did got beaten up by Curt Hawkings and Vance Archer after the match, before being put in Dolph’s sleeper hold.

We also had Drew McIntyre come out and announce that Matt Hardy is now suspended form, not just SmackDown!, but from all WWE programming. Kofi came down and beat on Drew. Back stage Drew tells Teddy that next week will be Drew McIntyre vs. Teddy Long.

Overall I thought this was a good show, and also me and my mums fiancé, Paul, have had some ideas over the storylines.

First idea was that Undertaker was taken out by the NXT Season 1 rookies, another, idea is, it was Kane himself (witch is the most obvious option), or Kane did it but doesn’t know he done it, maybe playing along the lines of a split personality which could also be a good way of bringing back the mask.
All those are just ideas both me and Paul may be completely wrong (which seems most likely).

Anyway that is all for now Matty.D signing off.
