NXT S2 Ep2

Well this week saw NXT season 2’s second episode and once again I was impressed with these rookies.
My favourite rookies this week was Alex Riley, and Kaval. They went head to head this week in a brilliant match that I truly enjoyed. The match was performed in such a way that we were able to see what both superstars have to offer. We saw Kaval in control for one half of the match, and Alex in control of the other; this showed what both rookies can do as the punching bag, and the guy doing the punching. Kaval really stood out for me; he has some great moves and great style. He uses a kung fu style and high flying manoeuvres. Alex Riley still stands out for me with his style and attitude, but like I said we needed to see what he was like in the ring, and after watching his match I was still impressed. Alex Riley won this match after rolling out the way of Kaval’s very high flying stomp, and was able to nail a TKO to win the match.

We also saw a rookies and pros tag match as Kofi Kingston tagged with his rookie, Michael McGillicutty, and we saw Mark Henry tag with Lucky Cannon. This match didn’t impress me as much as the previous one and these rookies didn’t stand out like some others have for me. This match ended with Kofi and Mcgillicutty’s hands held high. Mcgillicutty’s finisher was a fast neck breaker that looked very good.
After the match words from Cody Rhodes made a match to be scheduled for next week between Cody and Lucky Cannon. After that was done Cody hit Matt Stryker in the back of the head before walking away.
