Well let’s start at the most talked about subject in the WWE at the moment, Bryan Danielson.
The Sun has now done an article on the subject talking about the possibilities for his release.
Already WWE have put his leaving into story line, Wade Barrett on Raw said that Bryan had some remorse and because of that, Bryan will not be back.
Of cores this gives WWE the opening to hiring him back under Bryan Danielson, not Daniel Bryan, and also brings him back as a contracted superstar to go against the NXT rookies.
Its all still in the air, we are waiting to here some solid information on the release, like weather or not it was a complaint that caused this, if so who was it that complained, and is there any chance of seeing him back on WWE TV?
Last nights Raw saw the NXT storyline furthered along and I can sense a War is brewing, the night started with Wade Barrett in the ring, he says he was asked by Raw GM Bret Hart to come to the ring and apologise, Wade calls the rest of the rooks down to the ring, who make there way through the crowd. They all get in the ring, and Wade asks each one to apologise and each one says no, with a reason.
Brett then appeared to answer the NXT demands. The rooks that lost Season 1 of NXT wanted to be given full contracts, and private locker rooms. Brett then denied them the request and blew Wade’s chances in WWE by firing him, they were then asked to leave before being removed for trespassing.
Later on the NXT rooks was coming through the crowd to do another attack. John Cena was in the ring talking about the NXT invasion and referred to them as Radicals when this occurred. The NXT rooks was on there way down when defence straight away jumped in the ring in the form of Jerry Lawler, and the defence kept growing as Pros came down to fight the rooks, the Rookies fought the Pros, and more Pros kept coming, including the members of the WWE Championship match at Fatal 4 Way.
After that the night went on. Before the last match of the night (Cena with Randy vs. Edge and Sheamus) Brett had all the Superstars stand guard on the stage. I loved the way Cena came out and saluted them as if they were soldiers, and some of the Face superstars saluted back.
The match went on which was a great match and it showed that Randy is in shape for Fatal 4 Way, it was cut short when the lights went out in the arena, the screen showed the NXT rookies ransacking the backstage area, then we see them carrying Brett Hart through to a limo, they chuck him in the back seat and shut the door and tell the driver to go. At first I thought kidnap story but all that happened was the limo ran into other cars in the parking lot (shaking up Brett). The rooks then pulled Brett from the car and left him in a heap closing the show.
Other matches of the night was a Fatal 4 Way match for the US Championship, it was a good match other than the blatant miss of Morrison’s Star Ship Pain, The Miz took advantage and was able to take back the Championship.
It was announced later on that R-Truth is invoking his rematch clause, so he will be going one on one with Miz at Fatal 4 Way.
We also had a Divas match between the team of Maryse and Alicia Fox vs. Eve and Gail Kim. These 4 will be going in a Fatal 4 Way for the Divas title at F4W.
The match was pretty boring, we didn’t even see Gail Kim in action, but Eve did pick up the win.
We also saw our guest, Mark Feuerstein, and his one time co star in his show Royal Pains, Big Show, team up to take on Ted and Virgil.
Big Show and Mark won. After the match we saw Ted fire Virgil.
Evan Bourn continues to be pushed as he goes up against Chris Jericho. Evan won by DQ, after the bell ring he makes a statement by laying Air Bourn on Jericho.
And we also had Santino vs. Regal with special Ref Kozlov. Santino wins with a hand full of tights.
A good show and I am looking forward to the rest of the NXT story. They want the answer to there demands by Sunday.
I am wondering how its going to follow on. As the WWE Pro’s out number the Rooks, does it mean that the Rooks will get new recruits? Maybe team with the Season 2 rookies? Although that may ruin the second season. Or really drag the story out and they take on the rookies that are eliminated form NXT. There is also word of a rookies Money in the Bank match at MINB. Do not know weather it will be season 1 or 2 rookies, but will it be part of the new storyline? So many questions, lets wait for them to be answered.
Matty.D signing off.
